On September 6, 2015, Deandre Allison, a 20-year-old from Pittsburgh's South Side, was fatally shot in the Hill District. According to police reports, Allison was found lying in the street near McNeil Place and Webster Avenue around 10 p.m. An officer on patrol heard gunshots and discovered Allison with a gunshot wound to the shoulder and chest. Despite attempts by the officer to administer CPR, paramedics pronounced him dead at 10:08 p.m. at the scene.
