Zaire Overton, a 19-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was shot and killed on October 14, 2015. At approximately 9:33 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to reports of gunfire on the 600 block of Ritner Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Zaire with gunshot wounds to both his head and his leg. Medical personnel arrived shortly thereafter but were unable to save him, and he was pronounced dead at 9:47 p.m.
