On the night of Thursday, September 1, 2016, a burst of violence on a Philadelphia street left a young man's life cut tragically short. Ricardo Cheadle, a 29-year-old Black male from the King Village neighborhood, was in the area of the 1800 block of South 58th Street when he was shot. The incident occurred at approximately 11:11 p.m. at the intersection of South 58th and Trinity Streets.
