On August 9, 1986, Beatrice La Rose Hodge, a 48-year-old woman from Tulsa, Oklahoma, was found murdered in her home at 603 E. 42nd Street North. A neighbor, prompted by a call from Beatrice's concerned mother, discovered her body inside the residence. Signs of forced entry were evident, with pry marks on the back door.
