The incident occurred at her residence located at 3920 W. 59th St. Her husband, Shawn Moore, was also shot during the attack but survived his injuries.
According to Shawn Moore's account to investigators, he heard a gunshot within their home and was then confronted and shot by an unknown man.
Martha was discovered to have been shot multiple times. At 11:08 pm, a distress call was made to 911 by her husband to report his wife's injuries.
