In the early spring of 2004, the life of Elizabeth Long Jacob, a 46-year-old Caucasian woman known to her friends as Liz, was cut tragically short in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On the evening of March 15th, or the early morning of March 16th, the sound of gunshots echoed through an apartment complex at 8303 E. 25th Place. When police responded to the scene, they discovered Elizabeth's body in the courtyard. She had been fatally wounded by a gunshot to the head.
