On March 15, 2004, Elizabeth Long Jacob, also known as Liz, was found shot to death at an apartment complex located at 8303 E. 25th Place in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Responding to a call about gunshots, police found her body in the courtyard of the complex, with the cause of death being a gunshot wound to the head.
