Do you know who murdered Vickie? On the evening of September 5th, 1984, 23-year-old Vickie Marie Hill had plans to attend a ladies' get-together. She and her husband resided at the Westport Apartment Complex on Southwest Blvd in Tulsa, Oklahoma. When Vickie went to start her car, it wouldn't start, forcing her to return to her apartment. She called a friend to cancel their plans and then spoke to her sister at 6:30 pm, informing her of the car trouble.
Sometime between that last phone call and 9:00 pm, Vickie was
fatally stabbed in her living room. A friend's attempt to reach her by phone around 9:30 pm went unanswered. Later, the same friend went to Vickie's apartment and knocked, but there was still no response. Tragically, it was Vickie's husband who discovered his wife's body when he returned home from his night shift at 2:00 am.
Investigators have theorized that the assailant may have concealed themselves in the pantry, waiting for an opportunity to attack. It is also believed that the killer waited until after dark to leave the apartment complex. To date, the murder of Vickie Marie Hill remains unsolved. No arrests have been made in connection with her death, and no suspects have been publicly identified.
