Samantha Barlow, a 21-year-old white woman from the small community of Arpelar near McAlester, Oklahoma, drove to Tulsa on Thursday, February 1, 2018, for another weekend shift dancing at a club not far from Woodland Hills Mall. She had built a routine around these trips, coming into the city periodically to work and then returning home to her family and friends in Pittsburg County.
