On November 27, 2011, 25-year-old Daniel Maxedon was assaulted during an altercation outside a bar in Bricktown, Oklahoma City. Maxedon and his friends attempted to intervene in a fight outside the Rok Bar when they were attacked. Maxedon suffered severe injuries from the assault, and while his friends sustained minor injuries, Daniel’s condition was far more critical. He succumbed to his injuries nearly four months later, on March 6, 2012.
