On the evening of March 4, 2017, a violent encounter in a southwest Oklahoma City residence resulted in the death of 47-year-old Victor Vasquez. The incident, which unfolded at a home on Southwest 27th Street, also left another man, 36-year-old Marcos Avalos, injured but alive.
According to accounts from witnesses, two men forcibly entered the house and launched a brutal attack on both Vasquez and Avalos.
The assailants were armed with a baseball bat, which they used to inflict fatal injuries upon Vasquez inside the home.
In the wake of the deadly assault, investigators with the Oklahoma City Police Department identified two suspects in the case: Teran Morales and Nedio Lopez, the latter also known by the moniker 'El Maestro.' Arrest warrants were subsequently issued for both men in connection with the murder of Vasquez and the attempted murder of Avalos.
While the precise motive for the savage attack has not been officially determined, authorities have continued their search for Morales and Lopez. Law enforcement has solicited the public's assistance for any information that could lead to the apprehension of the two wanted individuals.
