On September 10, 2016, Jay Creacy, a 52-year-old man, was found dead inside his home in the 1200 block of S.W. 33rd Street in Oklahoma City. When officers arrived after receiving a call about a possible deceased person, they discovered Creacy had suffered trauma consistent with homicide. Authorities quickly launched an investigation, leading to the arrest of Derek Keith Blacker, a 27-year-old man, on a complaint of first-degree murder.
