On January 8, 2017, 38-year-old David Lamar Atchison II was found shot to death near Southwest 32nd and Shartel in Oklahoma City. He had been shot in the head, and his body was left on the street. David, a veteran of both the Marine Corps and the Army, had served three tours and had a passion for fishing, even competing in professional tournaments.
