On January 15, 1991, 29-year-old Peggy Harris was found dead with a gunshot wound to her left side at her residence on East Mound Street in Columbus, Ohio. The case was immediately treated as a homicide, but despite efforts from law enforcement, the case remains unsolved. At the time of the incident, no witnesses reported hearing any argument or commotion, suggesting that the shooting might have been a surprise attack.
