On January 15, 1998, Charles Cochran, a 65-year-old man, was murdered in Columbus, Ohio. The incident took place at the C + C Variety Store, located on Steele Avenue in Franklin County, where Cochran was working at the time. He sustained a fatal gunshot wound during an apparent robbery, and despite ongoing investigations, the case remains unsolved.
