Robert Bolden, aged 44, was tragically shot and killed on January 4, 1999, in Cincinnati, Ohio. The incident took place at the Elder Cafe, located at 128 W Elder Street in Hamilton County. On the day of the incident, Bolden was sitting inside the cafe when he was confronted by a man who threatened him.
