On September 7, 2001, 22-year-old Talib Saafir was shot and killed in Lima, Ohio. The incident occurred at around 4:45 a.m. when Saafir was walking in an alley near the intersection of Madison and Kibby Streets. He was in the company of several other people at the time of the attack. Saafir was shot in the back and subsequently taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His death is classified as an unsolved homicide, with no arrests having been made since the time of the incident. ...
