Elsie Noble, a seventy-one-year-old woman from Columbus, Ohio, became the victim of a tragic homicide on November 20, 2001. The incident took place on Beaumont Road in Franklin County, Columbus. Elsie was targeted in an attempted robbery when an unknown assailant tried to steal her purse. During this attempt, Elsie was shot in the chest, leading to her untimely death.
