Cheryl Bailous, a 15-year-old from Columbus, Ohio, was tragically found deceased on December 17, 1983. Her body was discovered in Alum Creek, near the northern end of Nelson Park. She was pronounced dead on arrival, and the cause of her death remains undetermined. Cheryl's body was found in the river, and it remains unclear how she ended up there.
