On April 13, 2009, 16-year-old Mark Crawford was shot and killed in San Francisco near the center courtyard on the 100 block of Blythdale Avenue. Mark had been home for the weekend to celebrate his 17th birthday, making the timing of the tragedy particularly heartbreaking. The incident occurred around 10:10 p.m., and the case remains unsolved to this day.
