It's been a month and a half since an explosion of gunfire in Midfield killed a 19-year-old man and wounded another. Police said the investigation continues, but progress has been slow.

No one has yet been arrested, and authorities have not publicly disclosed a motive. "We have speculation, but it's nothing concrete,'' said Midfield police Sgt. Jesse Bell.
