On May 29, 2010, Shawn Lamonte Ball, a 24-year-old resident of Dayton, Ohio, was tragically killed in a homicide that took place at 1200 Salem Avenue in Montgomery County. The Dayton Police Department responded to the scene and initiated an investigation, but the case remains unsolved. There have been no arrests made, and the motive behind the shooting has not been determined.
