Larry Harris, 32, male, was found inside a car with a gunshot wound to the head on the evening of July 31, 2025, after multiple 911 callers reported hearing six to eight shots near the 500 block of East Fourth Street in downtown Dayton. Responding officers and medics arrived around 7:10 p.m.; Harris was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office later confirmed his identity.
