On June 26, 2013, Christopher Burroughs, a 52-year-old resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, was shot and killed near the intersection of Woodford Road and Kennedy Avenue. The incident took place in the Kennedy Heights area around 5:10 p.m., and Burroughs was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
