On the night of September 30, 2013, 47-year-old Lynne Smith was found fatally shot at her residence on the 5600 block of Roche Drive in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred at around 11:09 p.m. when patrol officers, who were already in the area due to an unrelated situation, heard gunshots.
