On July 17, 2015, Duetta Nurse, aged 40, was fatally shot in Akron, Ohio. The incident occurred at the rear of 1892 17th Street SW in Summit County, at approximately 11:28 PM. The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, and the case has been classified as an unsolved homicide.
