On May 15, 2017, Dameco Charles, a 22-year-old man, was shot and killed in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred on the east side of the city, where officers responded to reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, Dameco was found unresponsive, lying in a residential area with gunshot wounds. The emergency responders pronounced him dead shortly afterward. Despite active investigations, the case remains unsolved, and no suspects have been publicly identified.
