On October 27, 2017, Dwaynel Howard, aged 51, was shot in the area of S. Hamilton Road and Melroy Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. At approximately 8:08 p.m., the Columbus Police Department received a call reporting the incident. Upon arrival, officers found Howard critically wounded.
