Aaron Leapheart III, aged 37, was shot and killed on December 26, 2017, in Columbus, Ohio. At approximately 12:23 a.m., Columbus Police officers responded to a report of gunfire at the 1000 block of Olmstead Avenue. Upon arrival, they found Leapheart lying outside in the apartment courtyard, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite rapid medical assistance, he was pronounced deceased at the scene by emergency personnel at 12:33 a.m.
