On a late summer Sunday, August 30, 2026, the life of 38-year-old Brittney Moreno was tragically cut short in the parking lot of a Denny's restaurant in Madera, California. Brittney, a resident of Merced County, had met her estranged husband, 51-year-old David Moreno, for a meal at the restaurant located near Avenue 18½ and Golden State Boulevard.
