In the early hours of Saturday, August 22, 2026, a burst of gunfire shattered the night outside Chip's Daiquiris on West Laurel Avenue in Eunice, Louisiana, leaving a scene of chaos and tragedy. When the violence subsided, 22-year-old Davion Ali Fugett of Opelousas and 34-year-old Rico Cardazz Morgan of Eunice were found dead in the parking lot.
