In the early morning hours of Sunday, August 23, 2026, the vibrant nightlife of the Short North district in Columbus, Ohio, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Responding to the piercing noise around 3:10 a.m., Columbus police officers discovered a grim scene in the 1000 block of North High Street. There, they found 20-year-old Tiegiaion Ty Clement suffering from a critical gunshot wound.
