On April 30, 2017, 34-year-old Thomas Louis Drewry, a Black male, was fatally shot in Columbus, Ohio. Police officers responded to a call about gunshots and found Drewry unresponsive on the rear porch of a house in the 1300 block of North Fourth Street. He was transported to Ohio State Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 12:02 a.m.
