On the evening of August 23, 2026, tragedy struck the community of Moberly, Missouri, when 57-year-old Cheryl Gravitt was found with a fatal gunshot wound. The incident occurred in the 500 block of Morehead Street, where officers discovered Gravitt lying on the ground with trauma to her head.
