On December 3, 2010, 27-year-old Marquis Orr was shot and killed outside the Millennium Hotel in Durham, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the afternoon, when police were called to the scene at 2800 Campus Walk Drive. Orr was found with a gunshot wound to the back and was pronounced dead shortly after.
