Javan Burt, 29, was found shot to death on November 21, 2016, near Carpenter Fletcher Road and NC Highway 55 in Durham, North Carolina. His body was discovered on a set of railroad tracks, and the investigation revealed he had been fatally shot. Despite efforts by local law enforcement, the case remains unsolved, with no suspects arrested. The Durham Police Department continues to seek information from the public to help solve Burt's homicide.
