On March 31, 2016, 21-year-old Lanaris Isabell was shot and killed at a home on Atmore Street in east Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m., and when police arrived, they found Isabell already deceased from gunshot wounds. Despite the ongoing investigation, no suspects were immediately apprehended, and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department urged anyone with information about the homicide to come forward.
