In the early morning hours of Saturday, August 8, 2026, the life of 29-year-old Tyshawn J. Hickman of Binghamton, New York, was tragically cut short. At approximately 5:45 a.m., while it was still dark, the sound of several gunshots echoed through the city's East Side near Montgomery Street and Whitney Avenue.
