In the summer of 2018, the life of a 35-year-old White female, Erin Elizabeth Bushek Somvilai, came to a tragic and mysterious end. A nurse and a mother to her young son and daughter, Erin was reported missing in early June from La Crosse, Wisconsin. The search for her concluded on June 17, 2018, when her body was discovered by a fisherman in Runge Hollow Lake in Vernon County.
