In a tragic turn of events on May 21, 2009, Pa Houa Vang, a 22-year-old Asian woman, died in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Her life was cut short in a violent act that authorities would later describe as a murder-suicide. The incident unfolded as her husband shot her before taking his own life.
