In the quiet community of Geismar, Louisiana, the life of 48-year-old Shandolan Carey was tragically cut short on June 20, 2026. On that Saturday afternoon, Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a distressing call of a shooting at a residence on Kerry Road. Upon their arrival at approximately 3:00 p.m., they discovered Carey suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
