In a case that has been described as one of the most violent in recent memory for the city, the life of 34-year-old Roland Matthew Sheppard of San Angelo, Texas, was brought to a brutal and tragic end. The grim details of his death began to surface on June 24, 2026, when the San Angelo Police Department launched a homicide investigation on the north side of the city. The investigation was set in motion by an anonymous tip about a possible homicide in the 1400 block of Parker Street.
