Cameron Ray Newsome, a 16-year-old male, was shot in the early morning hours of May 24, 2025, in a southwest San Angelo neighborhood and later died from his injuries. Police were called at about 4:45 a.m. to the 4400 block of Bermuda Drive, where officers found the wounded teenager and rushed him to Shannon Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
