On the evening of the Fourth of July, 2026, a sense of tragedy befell a neighborhood in Highland, California. At approximately 9:51 p.m., deputies from the Highland Station of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department were dispatched to a residence in the 27400 block of Stratford Street.
