Bishop W. Jenkins, 18, male, died after a violent early-morning shooting in Bellwood, Illinois, on Monday, June 1, 2026. Police were called at about 1:33 a.m. to the 1100 block of 32nd Avenue after reports of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found Jenkins and 23-year-old Sincere Aaron suffering from gunshot wounds near or inside a home on the residential block. Both were taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, but neither survived.
