Uriah Houston, a 41-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on December 15, 2019, in Bellwood, Illinois. The incident occurred around 10:51 p.m. when officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 1100 block of Eastern Avenue. Upon arrival, they found Houston with gunshot wounds. He was immediately taken to Loyola University Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Houston was a resident of Bellwood, and his death has left the community in shock and mourning.
