Jacquell M. Phillips, a 28-year-old man, died after a late-night shooting on June 12, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois. The violence unfolded in the West Garfield Park neighborhood, where officers were called to the 3800 block of West Monroe Street shortly after 11 p.m. When police arrived, they found Phillips in the street, unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
