On April 5, 2017, 19-year-old Kevin Marquez-Jimenez was shot and killed in a violent incident at an apartment complex in East Charlotte, North Carolina. The shooting occurred around 8:13 p.m. in the 3500 block of Spanish Quarter Circle. Despite efforts by law enforcement, the case remains unsolved, and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has urged the public to come forward with any information that could help identify the suspect(s).
