In the late hours of May 5, 2026, the life of 28-year-old Ryheem Davis was tragically cut short in a shooting that unfolded in the east Oak Cliff area of Dallas, Texas. Dallas police officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of Prosperity Avenue at approximately 10:25 p.m. following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered that Davis had been shot. He was transported to Baylor University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries at 11:35 p.m.
