His death was part of a series of brutal killings committed by Danny Lee Barber, a notorious serial killer. Barber, who was born on May 8, 1955, in Torrance, California, was responsible for the deaths of four individuals, including Raymond Curly. Barber's crime spree spanned from June 1978 to April 1980, during which he committed multiple murders, burglaries, and acts of necrophilia.
