The incident happened late at night, just before 10 p.m., outside his apartment complex. Despite the public setting, no arrests have been made, and police believe that someone in the area might have witnessed or heard something related to the crime.
Nmoma, described by his family as a kind and soft-spoken man with a bright future, was a graduate of North Carolina State University. He had aspirations of becoming a pharmacist and came from a family of educators, with his father being a nuclear engineer. His family, devastated by his loss, continues to plead for anyone with information to come forward, highlighting that Keith should not be remembered as just another statistic but as a man with ambitions and a loving family.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward for any information that might lead to solving the case. Investigators remain hopeful that someone with knowledge of the crime will break their silence and help bring justice to Nmoma's family.
